LANDSLIDES

Today we are going to see what a landslide is and how it can change Earth's surface.

ACTIVITY 1: Watch the following video and use the terms in the box to complete the definition of landslide:

2. Landslides only move really fast.

3. People living on a flat land with no hills or mountains are safe.

4. People living between mountains or on a hilly terrain are safe.

5. Landslides can't happen under water.

En el día de hoy conoceremos los desprendimientos de tierras (landslides) y sus causas.

ACTIVIDAD 1: Deben ver el video y completar la definición de landslide que se encuentra en la caja naranja. Para hacerlo, deben utilizar las palabras dadas en la caja negra. 

ACTIVIDAD 2: Deben completar el cuadro con las causas naturales y las acciones del hombre que provocan desprendimientos de tierra. 

ACTIVIDAD 3: Deben leer las oraciones y decidir si son verdaderas o falsas. En el caso de las oraciones falsas deben proveer la información correcta.
